Allow for a "lens" view instead of tooltip-on-hover for errors and warnings

In VS Code, there's an extensions called Error Lens that displays errors as part of the line, instead of only on-hover.
Especially with the Zed theming, I find it difficult to spot errors and warnings, and tedious to hover over them.
An addition of a capability to display errors — or any information — in "lens" mode would be nice. Of course, this should be a configurable option, not a default.
