Golaem For Unreal Engine is a bridge which allows to read, layout and render Golaem Simulation Caches within the Unreal Engine. Thus, it avoids baking out geometry, handles geometry and shading variation and Golaem Layout edits.

Prerequisites

  • Golaem for Maya
  • Unreal Engine
  • Windows 64 bits

Please use the same version of Golaem For Maya than the Golaem For Unreal tag you're compiling

Compilation

  1. Open ./Plugins/GolaemPlugin/Source/CrowdModule/GolaemMacros.Build
  2. Replace "C:\Golaem\Golaem-X.Y.Z-MayaYYYY" with your installation path of Golaem For Maya
  3. Right Click on ./GolaemForUnreal.uproject, Generate Visual Studio project file
  4. Open GolaemForUnreal.sln with Visual Studio

Additional files are installed when the source code is compiled for the first time
