Copilot suggested this for "stable release" configuration. The "exclude-paths" apply for a given directory not the "directories" node. This "should" fix the problem.

Dependabot was still searching through the "/archive" folder. From what I can tell, "exclude-paths" works at the directory level not with "directories". This rewrite should use "stable release" features.
