This update introduces an infiltration feature allowing users to specify time-independent, spatially varying runoff via a binary input file (runofffile). Runoff values are provided in percentage and remain constant throughout the simulation.

I had a quick look but wasn't sure what issue this resolves. Does the spatially-varying rate (qinffile) already do this?

Hi Kees,

It´s indeed quite similar to the qinffile implementation, but with the difference that qinfile infiltration is defined as an absolute value. With the run-off option infiltration is dependent on the net precipitation variable. I discussed with Tim, this was something we needed for Belgium to align with the methodology used for pluvial flood modelling.

Best,
Hilario
