You don’t need to be a programmer or understand complex setups. This guide will take you through everything to get nightwire up and running on a Windows computer.

  • Memory (RAM): At least 4 GB
  • Disk Space: Minimum 500 MB free

  • Phone: A mobile device with Signal installed and active

🚀 How to Download and Install nightwire on Windows

Follow these steps to get nightwire ready on your PC.

  6. Complete installation

  7. Start nightwire

    Find the nightwire shortcut on your desktop or in your Start menu. Double-click to open the app.


🔑 Setting Up nightwire with Your Phone

nightwire uses Signal on your phone to send and receive coding data securely. To link your phone with nightwire on your PC, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure Signal is installed on your phone

    Download and install Signal from your phone’s app store if you have not already.

  2. Open nightwire on your PC

    When you launch nightwire, it will prompt you to connect your device.

  3. Use the QR Scanner in Signal

    On your phone, open Signal and go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Linked Devices’.

    Tap ‘Link New Device’ and use your phone to scan the QR code shown in the nightwire app on your PC.

  4. Approve connection

    Confirm the connection on your phone. This links the two devices securely.

After setup, your phone and PC will communicate safely. You can now start coding via Signal with nightwire.
