We were previously restricted by Maven Central; as we are primarily a hosting provider, we now host our own Maven instance for practical and financial reasons.
The source code is still available:

Such a shame

So yes, we could build PdfiumAndroid from source, but that’s not the problem: it’s Realm.
We had to fork Realm to make it work with the new Android SDKs and AGPs.
And to do that, we had to put it on a Maven instance.
With the changes to Central Maven’s policy, we had to set up our own Maven, which makes sense since we’re a hosting provider.

Everything remains open source; you’d just need to authorize our Maven.
