Perhaps "throwing the baby out with the bath water" there may be a better way to do this but this is functional at least.

@egonw Now actually gone though and looked and I am ok with this. There is perhaps some interesting things with what the "external API" was via the Applet which could be capture somewhere - i.e. to allow scripting. But otherwise I am happy to consider Applet's dead, my motivation is primarily to have an awesome desktop app.

Yeah, applets are dead. Thanks for making the update! I will check the PR as soon as possible. If we want to get more people to use it, we probably need a more formal release and then some noise making. The latter I can do :)
