TL;DR - Migrate from Webpack to Vite, Upgrade from Vue 2 to Vue 3, upgrade all other deps

This is gonna be a big one. So it will be a major version bump.

Issue Number #1618

New Vars (if applicable)
Any env vars beginning with VUE_APP_ will become VITE_APP_. However I will add a layer for backward compatibility which will apply both.

Remaining Tasks (this list will get added to!)

  • - There's 2 remaining security issues in depednencies
  • - Deepscan shows a warning
  • - Vercel, Netlify, static deployments not fetching conf.yml
  • - Needs testing with all different auth modes

  • - I think I should merge currently open PRs first, and then handle the rebasing myself, rather than visa-verse

🚚 Vue 3 compatibility fixes

transition class names (-enter → -enter-from), ::v-deep → :deep(), $router.currentRoute → $route, removed duplicate proxyReqEndpoint overrides that shadow the mixin

Plus some error handling and robustness improvments to global error handler, try-catch on all JSON.parse/yaml.load from localStorage/config, null-checks on DOM lookups, .catch() on unhandled axios promises, sanitized v-html in Footer

And removes stake weback and vue cli cleanup of crap.
