Major Accuracy Difference Between Hosted OCR (docstrange.nanonets.com) and Downloaded Local Model #35
I tested the same document images using both the hosted OCR model on https://docstrange.nanonets.com/ and the locally downloaded version of the same model.
Surprisingly, the online model gave excellent OCR results, while the local one produced much poorer accuracy and formatting.
When running offline, it downloads the Nanonets-OCR-s model.
I think what's happening is the website uses a different model (Nanonets-ocr2-Plus?) which is much more accurate. and the website's model selection dropdown is broken; I'm getting back identical results on the website no matter which Nanonets model I pick
