Hi @Eunno-An, thanks for the report 🙏 Just released v2.3.0 which fixes this. Root cause: the Android system editor ignores photos passed through the insert intent (there's simply no supported photo field), so the photo is now applied to the contact right after creation instead. Two things to note: the editor won't preview the photo while editing (platform limitation), but the saved contact gets it; and it requires the app to hold WRITE_CONTACTS (otherwise it's skipped, since the creator itself is permissionless). Re: "same on name" — I couldn't repro that on stock Android 14, name prefills correctly there; if you still see it on 2.3.0, could you share your device/contacts app? Did this solve your problem?

@joachim-quis When saving a contact using name: Name(first: name), the name field on the contact saving screen appears not to be pre-filled (though if you actually expand the toggle, the name is correctly stored, and saving works fine). I tested this on the Z Fold 6.

Hi @Eunno-An, thanks for the follow-up testing on the Z Fold 6 🙏 The detail that the name was stored but not displayed unless you expanded the name section pinpointed it: Samsung's editor ignores StructuredName rows passed via the insert intent when rendering the form (Google's editor reads them, which is why I couldn't repro on stock). Just released v2.3.1 which passes the name as the classic Insert.NAME extra instead (the one field every editor displays) thanks also to @CrashKiki's fix in #241. One small note: the editor re-splits the display string itself, so an unusual first/last split may be re-interpreted in the prefill (e.g. a two-word first name); the user can adjust before saving.

Re: contributors. The repo doesn't have a contributors list beyond GitHub's own, but reporters get credited in the changelog, and this release credits you for the report and diagnosis. Thanks again for the careful testing 🙏
