| Date | Repository | Issue | PR | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-30 | brekkylab/backlot | #1124 | #1153 | Merged | Reads no API version on any /agents answer — the version's 400 and the echo off for the whole prefix, the four published-but-unserved agent operations included — and asks for a credential on any path of /agents/repos/{owner}/{repo} and /agents/tasks/{id} (no credential 401 Requires authentication, Bearer nope 401 Bad credentials, a resolving token the plain-text 404 page not found real's own router answers), where the router 404'd every caller before. |
| 2026-10-24 | pandas-dev/pandas | #71273 | #71508 | CI failing | Strings like "2020-01-02 08:07:13 UTC+0300" got a guessed %z format that applied the nominal sign while dateutil (and so Timestamp and to_datetime(format="mixed")) applies the POSIX inverted sign to a zone-name-prefixed offset, so to_datetime disagreed with Timestamp by the full offset. guess_datetime_format now declines such strings and every path agrees. |
| 2026-10-23 | langgenius/dify | #44664 | #44663 | In review | Fixes a bug in detect_file_encodings() where charset_normalizer could return a result with encoding=None, causing a misleading Could not detect encoding error. The fix filters out None encodings first, then checks if any valid encodings remain. Affects CSV, Text, and Markdown extractors which all use detect_file_encodings for autodetect_encoding. |
| 2026-10-23 | anomalyco/opencode | #58121 | #58479 | Closed | A plugin tool whose JSON Schema input declares a pattern keyword failed the Effect JSON->schema import (rejects pattern by default), and the runtime treated the failed import as 'cannot be imported' and validated nothing. Import with {patterns: 'ignore'} to skip only regex constraints while keeping required keys, types, and lengths validated. |
| 2026-10-23 | ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh | #14200 | #14199 | In review | fix(extract): extract .deb members into their result directories — the deb arm pre-created control/ and data/ then recursed with extract ../control.tar.*, so member tarballs landed double-nested (pkg/control/control/...) whenever control.tar had 2+ members, and data/ survived only when data.tar had a single top-level entry. Extract each member directly with tar -C into the prepared dirs reusing the plugin's per-compression chains; add .deb regression tests in default/target/remove modes. |
| 2026-10-23 | github/spec-kit | #5036 | #5069 | CI failing | Documents the hyphenated installed skill names and per-agent invocation prefixes for the bundled bug extension (fixes #5036 part 1), and closes the re-assessment staleness gap (part 2): after a confirmed assessment overwrite the assess step offers to rename the older fix/test reports to *.stale.md instead of leaving them current, and the validation step refuses a fix.md older than the current assessment.md (header-date comparison with mtime fallback, interactive-confirm/automated-refuse). |
| 2026-10-23 | psf/black | #2893 | #5592 | CI failing | Wraps the value of a keyword argument in (invisible) parentheses when it is an expression Black cannot split (a bare attribute chain, plain name, or literal) and the whole argument would exceed the line length, mirroring how assignment right-hand sides are already parenthesized via parens=ASSIGNMENTS; gated behind the new preview feature parenthesize_unsplittable_keyword_arguments because it changes output. Only wraps when the value is genuinely unsplittable (no brackets, no top-level delimiter) and wrapping can help (the name=( head fits within the line length and the name is long enough that the value line actually shortens), and preserves the required parens around a walrus in a keyword argument (f(x=(y := 1))). |
| 2026-10-22 | Comfy-Org/ComfyUI | #17294 | #17303 | In review | Stops validate_inputs() writing the unwrapped {value: ...} widget value back into the submitted prompt in place before it is queued, so /history and the PNG prompt metadata keep the submitted wrapper and array widget values stay distinguishable from node links when reopening an API-queued image; get_input_data() unwraps the same way for exactly the inputs validation reads (required/optional), so what the node receives is unchanged. |
| 2026-10-21 | pytest-dev/pytest | #3649 | #15239 | In review | A test module that fails to import because of a syntax error is re-raised by pytest as a CollectError, which made --pdb open the debugger on the raise statement instead of on the syntax error; the debugger is now skipped for exactly that case (the CollectError keeps the SyntaxError as its cause), while the error is still reported with its full traceback and every other collection error still opens the debugger. |
| 2026-10-21 | pypa/pipx | #2176 | #2177 | Merged | Treats bare local archive filenames with every pip-supported extension (.tar.xz, .tar.bz2, .tgz, .tar, .tbz, .txz, .tlz, .tar.lz, .tar.lzma, plus .whl/.tar.gz/.zip) as local paths, case-insensitively, so pipx install empty_project-0.1.0.tar.xz installs the file instead of looking up a canonicalized PyPI name. |
| 2026-10-21 | microsoft/pyright | #11879 | #11904 | In review | Defer functools.partial's constructor-transform validation for positional arguments that target an unpacked-TypeVarTuple *args parameter, solve the TypeVarTuple from the remaining constraints, validate the bound arguments as a prefix of the solved tuple and trim them from the parameter type (or defer via a synthesized trailing TypeVarTuple when only partially solvable), so partial(idle_add, test, "a") no longer errors at creation time |
| 2026-10-20 | honojs/hono | #5569 | — | In progress | Base64 encodes a Lambda or Lambda@Edge response whose Content-Type declares a charset other than UTF-8, so Response.text() no longer replaces every non-UTF-8 byte with U+FFFD: a text/plain; charset=shift_jis body keeps its bytes instead of coming back as mojibake. Published as a branch linked in issue #5569, because honojs/hono restricts pull-request creation to collaborators and no upstream PR could be opened. |
| 2026-10-20 | pytest-dev/pytest | #15221 | #15228 | In review | Reuses the parent level's cached collection report for explicit file arguments collected exactly once, so pytest a/test_1.py a/test_2.py … scans the directory once instead of once per argument (2.31s → 0.39s at 100 arguments of a 150-entry dir), while repeated file arguments (--keepduplicates, or the same file selected with different :: parts) still collect fresh per occurrence and failed cached reports are re-collected. |
| 2026-10-19 | Kludex/uvicorn | — | #3215 | Closed | Skips the h11 ConnectionClosed handshake for a connection whose local h11 state already failed and closes its transport anyway, so one connection in ERROR no longer raises LocalProtocolError out of Server.shutdown()'s loop and stops every later connection from being shut down too. |
| 2026-10-19 | Kludex/starlette | — | #3682 | Closed | Collects every route that partially matches the path so a 405 response's Allow header lists the methods of all of them (RFC 9110 section 10.2.1) in a deterministic sorted order, instead of only the first route's; a custom route that exposes no methods keeps its own handle() dispatch. |
| 2026-10-19 | brekkylab/backlot | #831 | #851 | Merged | Keeps a quoted from/to/cc/bcc value's quotes so _gmail_address_match reads its words alone: from:"no-reply" answers none where the same value unquoted answers the joined messages, as real reads it. |
| 2026-10-17 | brekkylab/backlot | #779 | #806 | Merged | Leaves out a message whose ts equals latest unless inclusive is sent, as one at oldest already was: _in_window now reads both bounds the same way, so latest=<a message's ts> alone is an empty page and inclusive=true puts that message back, alone when it is the bound on both sides. |
| 2026-10-16 | brekkylab/backlot | #775 | #786 | Merged | Reads a Jira comment read's orderBy as Java reads it (nuriyoo's 65-spelling measurement, 2026-10-17): the outer String.trim, then ^([+-]?)\s*(.*)$ whose \s is the six ASCII spaces and whose . and $ stop at a line terminator, so %01created and created%01 are 200, a control char behind the sigil stays in the refused field, and one line terminator at the end is served. |
| 2026-10-14 | microsoft/markitdown | #1897 | #2700 | In review | Adds --llm-client/--llm-model/--llm-prompt CLI flags that construct a lazy LLM client and forward llm_client/llm_model/llm_prompt kwargs to MarkItDown on all three constructor paths, making the command documented in the markitdown-ocr README actually work. |
| 2026-10-14 | microsoft/markitdown | #1784 | #2699 | Closed | Emits a UserWarning when CSV/TSV input is empty or produces no meaningful rows, while preserving the existing empty Markdown result for backward compatibility. Added import warnings and warnings.warn() in CsvConverter.convert() when rows is empty after trimming blank rows. |
| 2026-10-12 | brekkylab/backlot | #603 | #633 | Merged | Refuse a non-empty token query parameter as invalid_auth (an empty one beside a bearer header too) and read the token form field ahead of the bearer header, as real Slack does for apps created after 2021 |
| 2026-10-11 | isomorphic-git/isomorphic-git | #2286 | #2456 | Merged | Add an author option to git.log(): a case-insensitive JavaScript regular expression tested against the author's Name <email> string, applied before depth is counted and composable with filepath; filtering reads the author only, not the committer; an invalid regex rejects with SyntaxError |
| 2026-10-11 | brekkylab/backlot | #586 | #620 | Merged | Reorder conversations.history's argument-error checks to real Slack's reading order — latest, then oldest, then the cursor — so a request with two or more unreadable arguments is named by the first real would read |
| 2026-10-11 | brekkylab/backlot | #610 | #614 | Merged | Add GET/HEAD /s3/{bucket}/ routes delegating to bucket handlers so a bucket path ending in / returns the bucket listing (matching real S3) instead of 404 NoSuchKey for an empty key |
| 2026-10-10 | repowise-dev/repowise | #3285 | #3338 | Merged | Make a Python conditional-expression chain report one if decision instead of one per ifexp, matching the elif dispatch it compiles to and the flat ternary TypeScript already reports |
| 2026-10-09 | libredb/libredb-studio | #1411 | #1628 | Merged | Couchbase connect() now refuses a 404 on /pools/default/buckets/ naming the bucket; Trino connect() warns, via connectWarnings(), naming a pinned catalog absent from system.metadata.catalogs |
| 2026-10-09 | brekkylab/backlot | #554 | #577 | Merged | Mark a non-finite oldest/latest reading in _slack_ts as unparseable so conversations.history answers invalid_ts_oldest/invalid_ts_latest instead of a 500 from the window's uncaught int() |
| 2026-10-09 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #1912 | #6648 | In review | Split the inverted guard in _resolveComposeSendAccountId so a deleted active account resolves to null (default SMTP fallback) instead of returning the stale id |
| 2026-10-09 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #6186 | #6647 | In review | Route read-only Notes/todo requests to manage_notes by adding three rows to _ROUTING_PATTERNS in src/action_intents.py so Chat mode promotes to agent mode. |
| 2026-10-03 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #6314 | #6476 | CI failing | Strip tool_calls from assistant messages whose predecessor is not a user or tool turn so strict providers reject neither the payload |
| 2026-10-03 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #6464 | #6475 | In review | Pass an explicit HTTPBasicAuth to caldav.DAVClient so passwords containing spaces (Opencloud app tokens) are encoded correctly |
| 2026-10-03 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #6432 | #6472 | In review | Raise quick_parse max_tokens (512 to 6144) and timeout (20s to 60s) so reasoning models can return parseable JSON (bug 2 of #6432) |
| 2026-10-03 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #5049 | #6473 | Merged | Guard the three research_* settings reads in src/task_scheduler.py with try/except fallbacks to documented defaults (8192/90/3) |
| 2026-10-02 | odysseus-dev/odysseus | #2740 | #6453 | In review | Move SQLAlchemy 2.0 declarative imports off the deprecated sqlalchemy.ext.declarative path and drop the stale test stubs |
This table is maintained by scripts/update_tracker.py, which runs in GitHub Actions every 6 hours and on demand.
Each row represents a contribution tracked from issue discovery through PR publication and merge. The workflow:
- Discovery — Identify a popular repository with a credible outside-contribution pathway
- Issue selection — Pick a specific, actionable issue (or discover a genuine bug)
- Implementation — Write a focused fix with tests, following project conventions
- Publication — Open PR linking the issue; iterate on review feedback
- Validation — CI passes; maintainer approves; PR merges
- Recording — Entry added to this ledger with full provenance
The tracker is append-only: entries are never removed, only updated with new status information.
This workspace is licensed under MIT. Contributions themselves remain under their respective upstream licenses.
