TorBox is a privacy infrastructure company that aims to provide users around the world with tools for accessing the internet in a way that promotes freedom. TorBox does not restrict or censor the sources from which its users access information or files, and users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights to download the content accessed through TorBox's servers. This service is designed to facilitate the access of publicly available and freely distributed materials, such as Linux distributions (Linux ISOs), independent artists' content, or other non-commercial media. No copyrighted material is knowingly stored on or made publicly accessible from our servers. Access tokens are exclusively available to the users who initiate the transfers. TorBox is not a file sharing service.
TorBox prohibits the use of any of the following activities on its platform:
- Accessing or distributing licensed media or copyrighted material
- Accessing or distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Accessing or distributing Adult Content.
- Accessing or distributing of malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any other malicious computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
- Accessing or distributing anything illegal within the Republic of South Africa.
- Accessing or distributing anything illegal within the European Union.
- Accessing or distributing anything illegal within the United States of America.
If you believe your rights have been infringed upon by a user of TorBox's services, please contact [email protected] with evidence and you will be answered within 24-48 business hours.
TorBox is developed by a small team that does its best to maintain the reliability and uptime of the service. The service is provided as-is, with no warranty, expressed or implied. We cannot in good faith guarantee a service level, uptime guarantee, or any other promise of its level of service. All services are provided as best effort. No compensation will be considered for the unavailability of service.
TorBox reserves the right to restrict your account or prevent your access at any time. There are no refunds for paid accounts which have been permanently restricted or banned. Below are some of possible examples for why your account may be banned from our service.
- Accessing, distributing, transmitting or otherwise making available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
- Harming minors in any way; storing or retrieving any kind of exploitative content. TorBox regularly scans its servers for CSAM and other undesirable material.
- Accessing, distributing, transmitting or otherwise making available any content of which you do not have the right to make available under the law or under contractual or fiduciary relationship.
- Accessing, distributing, transmitting or otherwise making available any content that infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party including the right of privacy.
- Attempting to cheat or financially injur TorBox. Any charge backs, carding, or other abusive payment activities will result in your account being banned from TorBox.
- Sharing private access links to any content hosted on your TorBox account.
- Abusing any element of infrastrure operated by TorBox, including but not limited to API servers, backend services, bypassing of rate limits, etc.
- Reselling or mass sharing of accounts, API keys, and other forms of access.
Security and privacy is core to our values at TorBox. If you find a vital security concern, whether it is our database, access servers, storage servers, or any other service that TorBox operates, please report it to us privately via the appropriate channels. TorBox has a robust plain-language privacy policy that details what information is collected, retained, and how it is used, and who uses it. TorBox's website and services are not to be used by anyone under the age of 18 and not yet considered having reached the age of majority.
TorBox has no obligation to maintain features available to user on our service. We may remove or discontinue features for any reason at any time. No refunds will be given if a feature you paid for is removed during your paid use of TorBox.
TorBox operates as a shared service with any number of concurrent users accessing resources at a given time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are not negatively impacting other TorBox users. You must ensure your resource consumption (such as bandwidth, storage, or API requests) are within acceptable limits.

TorBox reserves the right to cease any access or transfer that is negatively affecting the service. TorBox also reserves the right to remove any files or content from our servers at any time without notification. Your account will be warned and banned if you do not abide by these terms. Do not use TorBox in an unfair or malicious manner. Please allow everyone to have a great experience using TorBox.
TorBox does not offer refunds for any reason. This is to ensure we are fairly compensated for resource consumption. Any payment disputes made will lead to a lifetime ban from the service. Attempts to circumvent any prior bans are strictly prohibited.
TorBox offers paid recurring subscriptions for your convenience. Subscriptions are charged in advance for each billing period, and each payment is processed immediately.
Users may cancel their subscription at any time by navigating to the settings page, choosing the applicable subscription, and clicking "Cancel Subscription". Users may also contact support to cancel their subscription. Subscription cancellation is instant, and will immediately stop future billing. The service will continue to remain active and accessible for the full length of your paid for time. There are no partial refunds for unused time.
