This repository is the application and tracking point for open source projects seeking hosting under the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF).
Before applying, review the authoritative documents maintained by the Technical Committee (TC):
- Project Lifecycle Policy for lifecycle stages, admission criteria, and ongoing expectations.
- Project Proposal Process for review, voting, legal paperwork, and onboarding.
- Check out the guide on what we're looking for and why you may want to submit your project.
- Open a new Project Proposal Application using the linked issue form.
- Complete all required sections.
- Submit the issue.
Your application will appear on the Project Proposals Board, where its progress can be tracked.
AAIF staff triage your application, and the TC reviews it through questions and discussion on the GitHub issue. A live presentation may be requested.
Projects should monitor their submission and respond promptly to comments or requests from the TC or community.
The Project Proposal Process describes the approval gates and responsibilities of the TC, Governing Board, and Linux Foundation. A submission or TC recommendation alone does not make a project an official AAIF project. All admission requirements must be complete before acceptance is announced.

- There is no requirement that a project is also a member organization of the AAIF. Though it is commonly the case that projects are contributed by member organizations, this isn't a rule.
- Similarly, having a project accepted does not grant the contributor membership status (such as Silver/Gold/Platinum) at the AAIF, nor a governing board seat.
For questions or support, please reach out to AAIF staff via the AAIF Discord Server or at support@aaif.io.
