• MIRROR_REFERENCE_DATE = datetime(2026, 5, 26) pins every added_at / created_at / posted_at / joined_at so re-seeding from scraped_data/ is bit-for-bit reproducible across machines
• Community generator uses random.Random(42) for sampling
• Per-track placeholder generator seeds RNG with release_id * 13 + 7 so two clean machines produce identical tracklists
• Every seed_*() function gated by count() > 0 early return (catalogue / community / users / taxonomy / forums) — confirmed no-op on populated DB across 3 successive boots

Verdict: Request changes (multiple blockers).

Mechanical

• Registration present, but ❌ off-by-one readiness bug: websyn_start.sh keeps a
  hardcoded if [ $ready -eq 15 ] while the image now runs 16 sites. The container logs
  16/15 sites ready and the control plane starts ~30s late on every boot. Please
  parametrize the count (as PR Add FedEx WebHarbor mirror #50 did) or bump to 16.
• ❌ Empty environment: the app seeds from scraped_data/*.json, which is
  git/dockerignored. In the built image the Discogs catalog boots with 0 releases — the
  site is up but has no data. Runtime data must come from instance_seed/discogs.db.
• ❌ Shared blocker: build.sh → check_assets.sh fails (missing instance_seed); no
  discogs.tar.gz on HF; .assets-revision not bumped.
• ✅ Once a seed is provided, /reset/discogs is byte-identical and /reset-all works
  (~1.3s) — the reset machinery itself is fine.
