🔧 Changes

Switch the app-id input to client-id in both actions/create-github-app-token steps in the release workflow (the Homebrew and Scoop app tokens). The action deprecates app-id in favor of client-id.

The steps still read secrets.RELEASE_APP_ID, which holds the numeric App ID. client-id expects the App's Client ID, so reviewers should confirm the value passed in before this is marked ready.

🔬 Testing

Workflow change only. It will be exercised on the next release.

📝 Checklist

  • All new/changed/fixed functionality is covered by tests (N/A)
  • I have added documentation for all new/changed functionality (N/A)

The app-id input of actions/create-github-app-token is deprecated in favor of client-id.
The secret now holds the App Client ID that client-id expects.
