InHomeDeviceManagement

Sandbox API Repository to describe, develop, document, and test the InHomeDeviceManagement Service API(s). The repository does not yet belong to a CAMARA Sub Project.

Scope

  • Service API(s) “InHomeDeviceManagement” (see APIBacklog.md)
  • The API(s) provide(s) the API consumer with the ability to:
  • A standardized API that lets ISPs expose connected device management capabilities to third-party app developers. It covers two areas:
  1. Network Access Control — Block, unblock, pause, unpause, or schedule internet access for any device connected to the household modem.
  2. Network Health Monitoring — Check a device's signal strength, congestion status, speed, and Wi-Fi compatibility in real time.
