## Reporting a Problem

The CNCF Slack has an integrated tool for reporting issues with messages. It may be accessed on the <kbd>More actions</kbd> menu, by clicking on the <kbd></kbd> icon to the right of a message, and selecting <kbd>Report to Slack</kbd>.

It may be accessed by clicking on the <kbd></kbd> icon to the right of a message, then clicking on <kbd>Connect to apps</kbd>, then <kbd>More message shortcuts...</kbd>, scrolling down and selecting <kbd>Report to Slack</kbd>.

I see that sometimes you do not have to click on

More Message Shortcuts...

to get to 'Report Message reporter' option

Also I can see the old 'Report to Slack' method appears on the ⋮ menu before the newer method.

If we are directing people to use the newer method do we need to explicitly warn them off from using the old method?

That is a good question. One other thing I thought of was to also provide mobile app instructions.

good idea on mobile, it's different on Android. I will check this now, report back

This should be the proper app to raise the message with CNCF Slack admins.
Selecting "Report to Slack" opens a website to report it to Slack itself (Slack Technologies LLC) in case of unlawful content.
