A framework for setting up vim and plugins using vundle.
From your homedirectory:
git clone --recursive git://github.com/dotphiles/dotvim.git .vim
cp .vim/templates/vimrc .vimrc
cp .vim/templates/gvimrc .gvimrc
Edit vimrc
let g:vundles=['general', 'programming', 'php', 'ruby', 'python', 'javascript', 'html', 'misc']
Configure any additional plugins in your copy of vimrc
Bundle 'reponame'
And enable vundles to install, see plugin/settings/README.md
:BundleInstall (in vim will install plugins)
:BundleClean (in vim will remove unused plugins)
Neocomplcache is enabled by default, in the template vimrc
let g:neocomplcache_enable_at_startup = 1
" Tell Neosnippet about the other snippets
let g:neosnippet#snippets_directory='~/.vim/bundle/snipmate-snippets/snippets'

Backups and swapfiles are disabled. I really hate them both.
You can re-enable backups by adding the following to your ~/.vimrc:
set backup
and swapfiles by
set swapfile
backup dir is set to ~/.backup/vim/
The directory is created if it doesn't exist.
Persistent undos are enabled by default.
You can disable by adding the following to your ~/.vimrc:
set noundo
The following is a list of commands and key bindings that I personally find interesting stored for easy refreshing my memory of them. there is no much 'system' to it, just randomly chosen bits of vim goodness.
