Hey @DawnFolk Thanks for this! I don't speak French, so I dropped the file to agent to sanity-check it, overall it looks solid, but it flagged a few things to fix before we can merge.

A couple of strings look like copy-paste slips:

• contextMenu.aiActions.makeFormal → currently "Fermer le plan", should be "Rendre formel"
• contextMenu.aiActions.makeCasual → currently "Fermer le plan", should be "Rendre informel"
• lineSpacing.single → currently "Seul", should be "Simple"
• colorPicker.highlightColors → currently "Couleur Surbrillante", should be "Couleurs de surbrillance"

Small grammar/spelling fixes:

• unsaved.savedTitle → "Toutes les modifications ont enregistrées" is missing a word, should be "Toutes les modifications ont été enregistrées"
• unsaved.unsavedAriaLabel → "Modification non enregistrées" should be "Modifications non enregistrées"
• dialogs.splitCell.minValue → has an English and left in, should be et; also colonnes(s) → colonne(s)
• dialogs.splitCell.currentMinimum → colonnes(s) → colonne(s)
• colorPicker.colors.lavender → "Lavende" → "Lavande"
• imagePosition.alignOptions.right → "Droit" → "Droite"
• dialogs.tableProperties.widthTypes.fixed → "Fixe(twips)" → "Fixe (twips)"
• hyperlink.urlRequired → "L'URL est requis" → "L'URL est requise"

One more thing, the PR only adds fr.json, but the locale also needs to be wired into the typed exports / subpath / package.json, otherwise CI (i18n:validate) fails. Could you run these steps and push the result?

1. Regenerate the wiring from the locale JSONs:

  bun install
  bun run i18n:codegen

2. Apply the translation fixes above to packages/i18n/fr.json, then regenerate again so the subpath bundle picks them up:

  bun run i18n:codegen

3. Confirm everything is in sync:

  bun run i18n:validate

4. Add a changeset (pick @eigenpal/docx-editor-i18n, bump level minor, summary like Add French locale):

  bun changeset

Once CI is green we're good to merge. Thanks again!
