Blacksad Quality of Life Mod

• Works with MelonLoader v6.0+ (Mono version)

Features (all adjustable)

• Faster or skip logos
• Faster start screen
• Allow skip dialogues (most of it)
• Faster walk speed
• Smoother walk when collide with obstacles/walls
• Allow skip cutscenes (only some)

Game fixes

• Patch out accidental logging, reduce stutter or lag on some occasions
• Forklift not able to move backwards
• Fix QTE on high FPS (limit QTE FPS to 60, can be customised)

Compile

• Install .NET Core 2.1
• Re-add missing references to the BlacksadQOL project from these folders:
  • <GAME_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>\Blacksad_Data\Managed
  • <GAME_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>\MelonLoader\net35
• Compile as normal

Note

• Skip dialogues option is already made by the developers, but disabled by default. Some dialogues may not be skipped for some reasons.
• Skip cutscenes is an in-progress feature made by the developers. Only some scenes allow skipping. Forcing skip on some scenes causes game softlocks
