The conflicts were in relation with the test introduced in #473, which is checking that all parameters can be computed independently via
pk.nca(). Because the branches #486 and #475 did not count with this test, the problem was invisible to them. Here I reverted both through manual curation (I tried more clever implementations, but it became a more difficult task due to all the entangled commits)
