Cheat Sheets

A small, opinionated collection of CLI / git reference notes. Written primarily for myself, published in case they're useful to others.

Contents

  • BSD-vs-GNU-Cheatsheet.md — the differences between BSD coreutils (shipped with macOS / FreeBSD) and GNU coreutils (shipped with Linux). Covers the flag and behavior gotchas you'll hit when copying Linux-targeted scripts onto a Mac: sed -i, xargs -r, date, find -printf, stat, and friends.

  • Git-Quick-Reference.md — workflows, pull request lifecycle, review-speak glossary (LGTM / WIP / draft / rebase / squash / force-push / CODEOWNERS / branch protection), Conventional Commits, and a command reference for everyday git use.

Contributing

Issues and PRs welcome if you spot a mistake or want to add a missing gotcha. The intent is to keep these short and practical — please prefer adding a concrete example over expanding prose.
