This function approves tokens for deposit into the vault and must be called before the deposit() function. The 'amount' parameter can be either a string or a number, representing the number of tokens in major units. For instance, if the deposit token is wETH, 'amount' being equal to 0.5 or '0.5' signifies 0.5 wETH. If the 'amount' parameter is not specified the token will be approved for the maximum allowable amount.

Furthermore, it enables the setting of the slippage for the withdrawal transaction. By default, the slippage is set to 1%.
