this code also adds some crazy monkey patching to automerge-repo to add a it also adds an option to patchwork's keyhive setup to allow you to turn off the idFactory which we want in the meantime until we are comfortable making keyhive docs needed before we merge this to patchwork.inkandswitch.com: pkg-base
