The release workflow always computed the next minor tag, so cutting a major release meant tagging by hand.

Add a major boolean input to workflow_dispatch, which renders as a checkbox in the Run workflow dialog. Unchecked keeps the existing minor bump; checked produces v<major+1>.0.0. The input is passed to the script through an env var rather than interpolated inline, and the computed tag is echoed to the run log.
