I build Open Nexus OS — an independent, capability-based operating system for RISC-V, written in Rust from microkernel to desktop. It boots to a graphical desktop in QEMU and on real RISC-V hardware.
- 🔧 Right now: memory and the app lifecycle in the kernel, the GPU-composited desktop, driver bring-up on real boards
- 🎨 Frontend & UX by trade — which is why the desktop gets as much care as the kernel
- 🤝 Want to help? Try the setup on your distro or pick a good first issue
