Haptics not triggering on demo site and in package usage

Hi, I noticed haptic feedback is no longer triggering for me on the official demo site and also in my own web app using web-haptics@0.0.6.

What I expected

Tapping buttons that call trigger(...) should produce vibration/haptic feedback on supported mobile devices, but no vibration/haptic feedback occurs.

Device / browser

• Device: iphone 15
• OS: iOS 26.5 beta
• Browser: Safari, Chrome

This was working before for me, so I’m wondering if this is related to a recent browser/OS behavior change or a package-side issue.

I just found out about this package yesterday when I asked on Reddit how to get haptics working through a Capacitor app. I went to the demo site, but none of the buttons nor the custom mode do anything on my Pixel 8. I can only get 2 of Capacitor's built-in vibe patterns to work, which is what lead me to look for a third-party package.

Any ideas what's going on here? Seems like it's not just Apple (for a change...)

On iOS 26.5 it doesn't work anymore. Tested also on 26.3.1 and it works there. Apparently, Apple patched this in the 26.5 release.
