Hi there 👋 I'm pretty new to tagging music files, so please let me know if this isn't best practice or if there's a better way to do what I'm doing / more appropriate tags / etc.
While using Picard to update file metadata, I've very often had to update the
artisttag to use the;separator so Emby picks up separate artists correctly. In addition, lots of my files mention featured artists in the title but don't list them in theartisttag – which means I can't search for those featured artists properly.This plugin tries to determine all of the artists for the selected files, and updates the
artisttag appropriately, separating each artist with;. It's not exact, but it's saved me a ton of time so far and maybe it can be useful to others as well!
