Summary

  • Documents that og:description, twitter:title, and twitter:description can now be set independently in page frontmatter
  • Clarifies fallback behavior: twitter:title falls back to og:title then title; twitter:description falls back to og:description then description
  • Adds these properties to the frontmatter code example on the SEO page

Shipped in mintlify/mint#6934: page-level social sharing metadata (og:description, twitter:title, twitter:description) is now properly respected as overrides in frontmatter, with sensible fallback chains.

Note

Low Risk
Low risk documentation-only change clarifying how page frontmatter can override social sharing meta tags and what the fallback chains are.

Overview
Updates the SEO docs to explicitly document page-level overrides for og:description, twitter:title, and twitter:description, including the fallback behavior between title/og:*/twitter:* fields.

Refreshes the frontmatter example to show these keys and adds a short note explaining how Twitter values fall back when only Open Graph values are provided.
