Most recent commits not applied to stable branch

I've noticed the most recent changes are not applied on the hdmi_frl_stable branch.
I use the kernel's stable version and generate the patches from that branch, so I was wondering if there is any particular reason for this.

I also would like this to happen. For some reason hdmi_frl branch always create 1.15 GB packages when built as RPMs, while hdmi_frl_stable only is ~125 MB.
