Outside work, I spend time on:
- systems and network programming with Zig, Rust, and Go
- coding challenges from Coding Challenges and ProtoHackers
- editor, terminal, and agent-harness workflows
My current setup is Zed with Vim bindings, tmux as the default terminal inside Zed, and Pi as my coding agent harness. My public setup lives in msharran/.dotfiles.
Recent project:
- pi-amplike-modes: Amp-like quick mode switching for Pi.
A few older projects I still like:
- zig-redis-server: a small Redis-compatible server written in Zig.
- codingchallenges.fyi: implementations of programming challenges, mostly around systems problems.
