Summary of Changes

Hello @qiancai, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces a series of minor textual adjustments and clarifications across various API documentation pages. The changes aim to enhance the precision and readability of the documentation for TiDB Cloud and Self-Managed components, ensuring that information regarding API functionalities is presented clearly and accurately.

Highlights

  • API Overview Page Updates: The main API overview page (api/_index.md) has been updated to include a Wikipedia link for the REST interface in the TiDB Cloud API section, refine the description for TiDB Self-Managed API by removing a redundant phrase, and correct a detail in the Monitoring API description from 'PD cluster' to 'TiKV cluster'.
  • Data Migration API Overview Refinements: The Data Migration API overview (api/dm-api-overview.md) received updates to its summary for conciseness and an expanded description for data source management, now explicitly including the ability to change bindings between data sources and DM-workers.
  • TiCDC and TiDB Operator API Summary Simplification: The summaries for both TiCDC API overview (api/ticdc-api-overview.md) and TiDB Operator API overview (api/tidb-operator-api-overview.md) have been streamlined for brevity by removing the word 'services'.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request makes several minor updates to the API overview documentation, improving clarity and consistency. The changes include adding a link for 'REST interface', simplifying sentence structures, and correcting terminology. These changes align well with the documentation style guide. I've added a couple of suggestions for further minor improvements to enhance conciseness and adhere to the active voice principle.

## TiDB Self-Managed API

TiDB Self-Managed provides various APIs for TiDB tools to help you manage cluster components, monitor system status, and control data replication workflows without relying solely on command-line tools.

To improve clarity and conciseness, I suggest removing "for TiDB tools". The APIs are for you (the user) to manage the cluster, and mentioning "TiDB tools" can be slightly redundant.
