Issues

• MappingIter skips entries when Mapping ids are sparse, so DependencySnapshot leaves candidates unsorted

prefix-dev/resolvo#318 · Filter by author RaphaelFakhri opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Soft requirements: a backjump below the soft requirement's level drops it silently, and can leave an unfinished assignment or panic

prefix-dev/resolvo#317 · Filter by author richinsley opened on Oct 17, 2026

• Implications that the encoder assigns directly are lost on backjump, so a conditional requirement can be silently dropped (invalid solution)

prefix-dev/resolvo#316 · Filter by author richinsley opened on Oct 17, 2026

• Conditional requirement encoding is too strong after backtracking (false unsat, unrequested installs) and is not enforced for multi-version packages

• Lack of clarity for unsatisfiability
