Removing the build setting was chosen from the following message from cocoapods:
[!] The `UI Tests [Debug]` target overrides the `OTHER_LDFLAGS` build setting defined in `Pods/Target Support Files/Pods-UI Tests/Pods-UI Tests.debug.xcconfig'. This can lead to problems with the CocoaPods installation
- Use the `$(inherited)` flag, or
- Remove the build settings from the target.

I've been using this project and it works nicely, and it has TESTS! Needs some CI though...

I had to make some changes to get the KIF tests running on my local machine, then configured Travis CI.
Oh and I took the liberty of updating the
.gitignore@rob-brown before merging this you should log into Travis CI and enable builds for this repo.
