Simple Matlab script for calculation volume of terrain object (heap, hill, mountain, etc) by point cloud produces by LIDAR.
Test data was loaded from OpenTopography site, following toolboxes are necessary:
Lidar Toolbox
Computer Vision Toolbox
Tested under Matlab R2021b (9.11.0)
