Steven! Awesome to see someone jumping in here since I seem to have lost some momentum. This documentation site is based on Octopress, which means you edit the source branch and then Octopress will generate the HTML in master. A big part of why I haven't invited others to help with the docs yet is that I haven't written up the "how to contribute" section for the docs yet. Having said that, I figured out Octopress on my own so maybe you can too. Take a look at http://octopress.org/docs/ and see if that helps you get going. I may try to finish out that page here in a day or two just to help other people finish what I have not (yet) finished for docs. |

Hi, teamcfadvance.github.io/ValidateThis/ At the moment I a, trying to get this working on my personal github account with octopress. I have a placeholder page created at sneiland.github.io/ValidateThis/ but getting octopress playing ball is a real pain. It would be helpful if I could hit you up on the ValidateThis cfml slack channel. Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2015 05:46:11 -0700 Steven! Yup - this home for the documentation was meant to be super-temporary while I was restoring the docs. You don't actually need to get it form the wayback machine. It's all in this repo, just not very well formatted or organized yet. Eventually it should also be moved into a more project specific location as well. Getting Octopress to play nice within the ValidateThis project itself is not something I've gotten working yet so for now it's in this less than optimal (but perfectly functional) location. Octopress is a little tricky to figure out but it works awesomely once you have it setup. You may find that it's easier to wait for me to drop some quick instructions on how to get it going locally if you are having trouble with it. I'm not on Slack right now - too busy to have it open - but might be able to log onto it tomorrow or later this week. Just can't keep it open all the time or I get nothing else done. |
