I really don't like the way this page is structured right now (it feels very difficult to digest) and I'd like to do a more thorough rewrite at some point, but for now I've just added some missing details and a flowchart that I think will help a bit.I've done this rewrite, moving the big table of examples to the bottom and leaving more compact simpler examples embedded within the text itself. I also added some more information that wasn't there before.
