The image scan feature no longer works. (Bitrot due to android changes, I would guess.)
This pull request tries to bring the java environment up to date, replace unmaintained libraries, and fix the image scan.
I don't know exactly how it used to work .
I also included a cleanup commit, to use posixly correct line endings at the end of the files.
I'm not sure if this repository will still accept PRs, and I'm willing to take over maintenance if not.
I really like this simple QR code app.
