File before editing uses
tabindents and not 4 spaces.
Please don't change formatting; we use tabs for indentation.
Other than that, concerns from the original issue still apply, e.g. #202 (comment). It's not likely we'll land any solution here before jQuery 5.0.0.

Added `tab` indentation and updated code to add support for passive event listeners!
