Local LaTeX installation

Use TeX Live on Linux or MacTeX on macOS for local builds. The templates require the tudscr package (included in TeX Live).

Suggested tools

• python/jupyter with matplotlib/seaborn for generating figures from data
• Overleaf for collaborative editing
• Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator for composing figures
• Zotero for maintaining a literature library and BibLaTeX file
